StoryThis fiction game berseting on a tourist island is very beautiful island called Banoi. Unfortunately in this game we can not fully enjoy the beauty of this island. At the moment we wake up in the hotel Palms Resort and found that the entire island was filled with zombies. We must find a way out of this dreaded island and along perlarian, we will meet some of the survivors and also the mysterious man who communicates with us through radio will lead us into the forest to find the source of infection that spread terror in the beautiful island.This game presents four figures of characters to choose from, namely Xian Mei, Sam B, Logan, and Full. Each character has a background character, like Xian May constitute one of the main Royal Palm Resort, a hotel employee who survived, Logan is one of the main football star whose career ended due to his ego, Sam B is a famous rap star, while Full is a cop whose career ended sydney because errors are not intentional.
GameplayUnlike the game Left For Dead and Resident Evil, this game offers gameplay a la Grand Theft Auto, by presenting an Open World game level full of zombies in a place setting at the resort island Banoi. we can freely explore the island which includes the area Côte, Hotel, Urban, Forest, underground passage, to prison. In this game we also can use the vehicle to shorten the travel time from one place to another because the level of play is extensive and we can use the vehicle to hit the zombies that face in front of us.
Then we will also meet with some NPC who survived the terror of zombies to receive the main quests and side quests. In one of the main main quest will follow the movie Black Hawk Down and by using the same title quest with the title of the film, where we have to find the helicopter crash site to look for passengers who are still alive and rescued from the zombies as well as securing food into the bunker. Overall the main quest is presented in this game very interesting to follow throughout the game although the story seems flat and there is no intrigue. As for side quests are also very varied, such as finding missing people, rescue people trapped inside a damaged car, to look for the teddy bear and return it to a child.
Even more great again feature allows you to play cooperatively with friends up to 4 people and allows us to choose the same character with other players. Each character in this game has a different skill and proficiency at certain types of weapons. Meanwhile, Logan has the ability to throw with a sniper and expert in throwing weapons use.
This game also has a touch of RPG elements even though not so deep. where by killing zombies and complete the quest then we will get some exp points which have been collected if the character is full then the level will be increased. And we also will get a few skill points to learn skills-skills that are in the skill trees are categorized into 3 in this game, the Fury that brings skill-a skill that can make the characters have more power and issued a fairly deadly attacks, which presents Combat skills-skills that will help increase attack power, and so in character, and the Survival of a skill-a skill that is supportive as increase stamina to increase the storage of goods carried.
We can also have various types of weapons, but every weapon in this game has a level and statistics as in most RPG games, so we can only use weapons that have a level below or equal to the level of our character. In addition to using weapons, we can also perform jumps and kicks. If we combine the two movements would produce a powerful attack that can bring down a zombie. GraphicThe beauty of the island Banoi presented with pretty good success and detail in this game. Coupled with a pretty good lighting effects and fog effects and animation that looks like real water. Zombies in this game also managed to appear very frightening and horrible, but when viewed up close texture of the zombies look terrible and not detailed. O well, this game also features plenty of blood splattered on the screen so it is not good for small children.
OverallTechland succeeded in presenting something different from other horror games is also a zombie theme. The result is a combination of FPS and RPG games with setting Open World to make themed survival horror game is becoming quite interesting to play.Plus support cooperative mode which is becoming a major focus in this game makes the player easy to jump directly into the game in progress. And a lot of fun when we work together with friends in completing various quests and kill every zombie that appears in front of us.
